It all began when my sister needed senior portraits. She asked me to take them, and I happily obliged, not realizing how much I’d fall in love with the process. Growing up, I was inspired by my parents, especially my dad, who played a huge role in shaping my passion for media and creativity. I would watch him shoot short films, edit videos late into the night, and dedicate his time to our church’s media team. His encouragement and example pushed me toward starting this business. Then I started helping with family weddings and get-togethers. Seeing their confidence shine in front of my lens and capturing those genuine, heartfelt moments sparked something in me. From then on, I knew photography wasn’t just a hobby—it was a calling.

Encouraged by that experience, I began capturing memories for others and officially launched my business in 2022. One of my most popular photography packages is named after my late grandmother, Maliumai, who had a profound impact on my love for preserving memories. She was known for saving countless family photos and curating beautiful albums for us to look back on. She understood the importance of capturing the moment, and her dedication to preserving our family’s story inspired me deeply. Though she may be gone, her legacy lives on through this business and the photos she left behind for us to cherish.

The name “In His Image” was actually my dad’s idea (shoutout to him!). Rooted in the truth of Genesis 1:26, it serves as a beautiful reminder that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made, created in the image of God. My mission is to reflect that truth through my work—helping you see yourself as God sees you: beautiful, cherished, and uniquely you.
